B.A.C.A. Bikers Against Child Abuse

One thing that we can all agree on is that the life of a child should be safe and free of abuse. B.A.C.A. is committed worldwide to children who don't have that luck and they try to get the lives of these damaged children back on track.

How they do that

Actually, by just doing one thing: to be there for them. Children under the care of B.A.C.A. feel supported by the idea that they are not alone. In unsafe situations, or when they're just feeling unsafe, the bikers can offer them the support they so desperately need.

"Partly because of my own fatherhood, I was touched by the strength you can give a child by showing them that you are there" says Frank Prins of Transsmart. "Just standing at the door of a child, with several bikers, in the middle of the night because the perpetrator could come along, and the child does not dare to sleep. Just walking along or driving along if the child does not dare to walk to school solely with his mother, because you never know who you might run into ... Or how about a court visit, the moment a child sees the perpetrator again?"
Frank: "In the few years that I was with B.A.C.A., I have seen quite a few children with a raised head and straight back again after a few encounters with our bikers. Thereby the children learn that the saying "One B.A.C.A." is not an empty motto. "

When the need is there, at least two bikers show up. If possible those bikers come from close by. But if not, bikers from further and further away will show up. Even land borders are no limitation for them.

Transsmart support B.A.C.A.
Both Frank and the members of B.A.C.A. were pleased to hear that Transsmart has decided to support this organization with the amount of € 1,000. Every cent of this goes to the aid to the children. There is no overhead, everyone at B.A.C.A. puts a lot of his or her own time and money into this work and earns nothing at all. Volunteers par excellence!

P.S. For the bikers among us: every year in May a ride is driven (in NL) that is open to riders from outside B.A.C.A. A beautiful event to see who and what they are and do with your own eyes.
