As COVID-19 (the coronavirus) continues to impact the global community, we want to personally update you on the steps we have taken to ensure business continuity for all our customers around the world.
Based on guidance from the World Health Organization and local Official Health Authorities, we have augmented our already robust Unifaun/Transsmart Business Continuity Plan with specific steps to account for COVID-19.
Being a cloud-based SaaS company, you can rest assured that the performance of our platforms will not be impacted. As the situation continues to develop, we have asked employees in the Benelux to work from home as a precaution. We have tested this scenario as part of our business continuity planning, and we are equipped to maintain the high-quality sales and customer service you have come to expect from us. Our customer representatives are here to assist you. Our project managers and consultants continue their services for you, however working remotely.
It goes without saying that, in the current environment, the health and safety of our employees, customers and partners are paramount. We have updated our Pandemic Response Plan based on guidance from Official Health Organization. As such, we have limited employee travel to minimum, employees returning from travels (private or business) to risk areas are required to work from home for 14 days after the return. In addition, given many of our customers have implemented similar travel policies, we have instructed employees to leverage technology and conduct internal and external meetings virtually as much as possible.
This is an unprecedented time for everyone, and the situation is changing daily. We are committed to maintaining our business operations and to ensuring you to continue to receive the highest quality service without disruption.
Our thoughts are with those affected and we pay tribute to the dedication, expertise and hard work of health service staff and those in leadership roles in the face of the continued increase in the number of COVID-19 cases.
