Looking for efficiency
Last year Backshop decided to start the collaboration with Transsmart. Mandy: “Previously, our logistics processes were far too cumbersome: we had to carry out too many actions to ultimately be able to deliver. We heard about Transsmart through the consultant who implemented Exact Online. As far as we are concerned, a good match with our company!” Transsmart has provided the integration with Exact, the system which already ran at Backshop. "A huge profit," said Mandy. “This ensures that the entire process - from receiving an order to processing the packing slip and shipping label - is automated. This saves us a lot of time, but also prevents us from making small mistakes in the process. As a result, we can also provide feedback to our customers faster or, for example, to sales channel Bol.com: the Track & Trace information is immediately available and is automatically created and updated. So everything is much more streamlined. ”
On July 1, 2019, Backshop switched to the Transsmart connection. Mandy: “Obviously, it took some time for us all to get used to the new software: we had been used to the old way for years! Fortunately it all went very fast and everything went smoothly. During the implementation, the support of Transsmart was easily accessible, which was very nice. There was good guidance, which meant that everything was up & running very quickly. ” At the moment the software is still being developed and updated, so Backshop always runs on the latest versions.
